By Matt Howell—

MUNCIE, IN — Matt Howell, president of the Muncie Rotary Club, announced that eight organizations will receive grants from the Rotary Fund endowment held at the Community Foundation of Muncie & Delaware County for 2022.

“Our Board and Executive Committee have been amazed by the interest we have generated this year for our grant opportunity.” Mr. Howell said. “We received so many amazing nominations from so many different deserving organizations, which made our job of selecting the winners all the more difficult.”

The Muncie Rotary Club had a record number of organizations (22) submitting funding requests totaling nearly $55,000. With the authorized annual funding amount the Club was limited to through the endowment, they were proud to be able to fully or partially fund eight agencies for a total of nearly $9,000.
