Corn Pam and Tommy Showrunner DV DeVincentis said the limited series was made with the goal of portraying Anderson in the most positive way possible, Anderson had no involvement in the show and apparently has no interest in watching it.
Even with the stated aim of giving a positive portrayal of Anderson, the show has the kind of fact-versus-fiction elements that are typical of many true story-based TV shows and movies – rearranging timelines, merging characters and put a retrospective on certain situations.
