In the first segment of Monday’s Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez shared some news regarding the second season of John Cena’s Peacemaker and Andy Kaufman’s casting for a possible new season of Dark Side of the Ring.
Alvarez reported that the second season of the HBO Max breakout show featuring the DC Universe’s character Cena’s Peacemaker is currently filming.

The new season is expected to start in 2023.
On Sunday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Alvarez and Dave Meltzer had a chat about Dark Side of the Ring and weren’t sure if the show would return for a fourth season.
During Monday’s WOL, Alvarez said he wasn’t sure if the show was filming, but he saw a casting notice for a Vice show run by the Dark Side of the Ring co-creator. , Jason Eisener. One of the characters they’re looking to cast is Andy Kaufman.
The late comedian was involved in a famous 1982 angle in Memphis, Tennessee, with Jerry Lawler. The storyline partially took place on the wrestling shows Late Night with David Letterman and Memphis and was part of the 1998 film Man on the Moon about Kaufman’s life.
It’s possible that the character(s) will be chosen for the Dwayne Johnson Seven Bucks Productions series in the territories that Dark Side co-creators Evan Husney and Eisener work for Vice.
No fourth season has been officially announced for the popular series.
