“Band for Life” is the theme for the Brass Bands England 2022 conference.
Brass Bands England (BBE) have confirmed the date of their Brass Band Conference 2022.
It will take place on Saturday 22 October at the Life Center in Sale, Manchester, as a hybrid event combining both in-person and digital elements.
Bands for life
Following the previous themes of ‘Challenge’, ‘Resilience and Sustainability’ and ‘Improving Our Art’, this year’s focus is on ‘Banding for Life’. It aims to provide the opportunity to hear a wide range of speakers from all areas of the marching band industry.
The day will also include the presentation of the annual Brass Band England Awards which are open for nominations until Friday 13 May.
Return in person
Speaking about the upcoming event, BBE Education and Development Manager Sarah Baumann said, “After two years of purely digital events, we are delighted to be in person again for the conference this year.
In addition to being a day filled with informative presentations, workshops and discussions, it is also a fantastic opportunity for us to meet our members and for the groups to network with colleagues from across the country. »
In-person tickets and digital passes will be available for purchase on the BBE website in the near future.
